We support effective legislation and regulations to prevent minors from purchasing and using our products. We market our products responsibly, following strict guidelines and targeting materials to adult smokers rather than youth audiences.
We do not use cartoons, youth-oriented celebrities or models under 20 years old in our marketing materials. There are also no lifestyle activities in our promotional materials that specifically appeal to young people.

Our marketing materials consist of three elements:
Health warnings, which are printed voluntarily in many countries where such warnings are not required by law;
Our Guardian Program logo;
A line indicating that our products are intended only for existing adult smokers and e-cigarette users.

RELX's official website has age restrictions to ensure that minors cannot access and purchase RELX products online. We are leveraging advanced technologies to complement the Guardian program.
We do our best to promote the Guardian program among our stakeholders and business partners to maximize its positive impact.
We educate our business partners on implementing guardian programs. We have dealer terms that include monitoring and penalties for noncompliance with underage restrictions.
